Dawa Chhiri Sherpa is a Founder, Trekking, Tour Guide and Trekking Instructor and Guide of 'Friendship Trek' Trekking and Expeditions (P). Ltd. He was born in a traditional mountain village in the Solukhumbu district Goli-06 of Nepal, close to the Mount Everest region and home to the Sherpa and Tamang people. In the local language of Tamang people 'Friendship Trek' also means 'The Earth'. He began his career as a porter on Trekking and Expeditions to Mount Everest Region/Annapurna region when he was just 15 years old.

He has more than 28 years experience in trekking field in several Himalayan regions of Nepal. Personally he is very friendly and helpful and he loves to share his deep of knowledge about mountain among travelers to make their journey interesting and unforgettable. He will have always smile face in the trekking so he is also called by the name of Laughing Buddha. He always thinks to give good Knowledge about the trekking, mountains and good service and service.

He has guided trekkers in all of the popular trekking destinations of Nepal. He has worked in Tibet, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Bhutan, India etc. He speaks good English language as well as speaking Nepalese and numerous mountain dialects. He is one of the good guide for our company. He plays a vital role to run a office for the Trekking. He always thinks a good service and service to the clients. Great care is taken in environmental and cultural preservation during any our outdoor trips. We always use gas instead of local firewood. Our campsites are left clean and all trash will be disposed properly, or removed from the camp.
