Itinerary of Trekking
ARUN VALLEY
The trekkers have largely ignored the region. For botanists, bird- watchers and amateur geologists this region is a perfect choice to trek. It is the habitat of over 80 species of mammals and rare species of birds are found here. Some of the earliest settlers, Rais and Limbus are found here. The trek starts from Tumlingtar till the base camp then retrace steps back to Tumlingtar or head towards Lukla. For the more adventures proceeed towards Sherpani Col (6081m) and enter the Chukung valley to walk down toward Namche finally to fly out from Lukla.
