Trekking-peak Climbing in Nepal is one of the most sought after adventures.

The "Trekking Peaks" of Nepal are between 5,500m & 6,654m high & they benefit from relaxed climbing regulations. A small peak fee is payable, but in all other respects they are treated as a "Trek" by the Nepalese authorities. This makes them more accessible & less expensive to climb. Though they may have the title of a "Trekking Peak" many of them are tough propositions, even by their easiest routes! Currently there are 33 such peaks, including the peaks described below. Mountaineering in Nepal:
Fee structure for Group "A" N.M.A. Climbing Peaks:
Fee up to seven members: US$ 500.00
Fee for each additional member up to 12 persons: US$ 100.00

Fee structure for Group "B" N.M.A. Climbing Peaks:
Fee for 1-4 members: US$ 350.00
Fee for 5-8 members: US$ 350.00 + 40.00 US$ per person
Fee for 9-12 members: US$ 510.00 + 25.00 US$ per person

Garbage Deposit for all N.M.A. Climbing Peaks:
A garbage deposit fee of US$ 250.00 payable to N.M.A. is required to obtain permits for all N.M.A. peaks. Refunds of the garbage deposit shall be as per N.M.A. provisions.
